DO YOU REMEMBER?
I am known as 'Delta Dawn'. That is not my real name but no-one seems to know who I am. Do you know who I am? Do you recognize me?
I was last seen with my Mommy on Interstate 10 heading West near the Pascagoula, MS exit.
No-one really knows what happened to me or who my Mommy and Daddy are. They only know what was believed to have happened to me in the early hours of December 4th or 5th 1982.
One person witnessed seeing me and my Mommy refusing to get into a pick-up truck the night I went to Heaven. A lot of truck drivers reported seeing us and couldn't understand why a woman and little girl like me were walking down the interstate so late at night. I had no coat or shoes on my feet. It was kind of cold. The truckers kept offering to help us but my Mommy refused to let them help us. My Mommy was upset for some reason but I don't know why. It seems we were homeless or traveling the day before because we were at a truck stop in Grand Bay, AL.
Please help me find out who I really am. If you recognize me or know who my family is, please tell someone.

We had a memorial ceremony on Saturday, December 8, 2007 at 3:00pm CST at Bethel Assembly of God church on 2105 Martin Street in Pascagoula, MS. An hour before the ceremony we met at the gravesite for a short prayer. Delta Dawn in buried at Jackson County Memorial Park Cemetary on Ingalls Drive.

Age: 18-24 months
Weight: 20-25 pounds
Height: 2'6"
Eye Color: brown or blue (Cloudy)
Hair Color: Blonde/Strawberry Blonde
Clothing: Undetermined. Some reports say a red/white checkered dress or shirt or a pink/white dress. The article of clothing had the brand "Cradle Togs" on the tag.

PLEASE HELP DELTA DAWN GET NATIONAL COVERAGE WITH AMW!
For 25 years a precious little girl I call Delta Dawn has remained unidentified. A nameless child, whom no one seems to claim.
Delta Dawn was barely two years old when she was the victim of a terrible crime. On or around December 03, 1982 she was thrown off the Interstate 10 bridge into the river below near Pascagoula, Mississippi.
For the past year I have written letters to AMERICA'S MOST WANTED asking them to please feature her story on their show so that she may get the national exposure that she desperately needs. Unfortunately, AMERICA'S MOST WANTED has not responded.
I believe that if the public were made more aware of this case, it would have a better chance of getting solved and an innocent little girl's identity would be reclaimed. Someone knows who this little girl is or knows who is responsible for her horrible death. Without public awareness her name will be forever elusive and her
killer(s) will remain forever free.
Everyone has a name and deserves to be remembered by that name, just as every criminal has a motive and deserves to be punished for that crime.
